New management team

A new management structure and new responsibilities are being created at ALTER UK. Ian Oxtoby becomes Managing Director of ALTER UK. He brings a wealth of experience in the semiconductor and photonics industry and has been a key part of ATN UK as Operations Director. "It's great that Ian will be leading the company from now on. Ian's extensive experience and proven track record make him the ideal person to lead ATN UK into the next phase of growth and innovation," said Jörg Aign, Managing Director of TÜV NORD International. In his new role, Ian Oxtoby will be responsible for the general management of the Livingston and Galsgow sites. Livingston, for example, is home to ALTER's expertise in semiconductor packaging. In Glasgow, colleagues have opened the Photonics Design Centre in order to bring products relating to light technology for space and the quantum world to market more quickly. Stephen Robertson will be responsible for the Design Centre.

Cara Campbell will be responsible for supporting the financial control, reporting and profitability of ALTER UK.

And Matt Booker will take over responsibility for Global Sales for the Photonics Design Center (PDC) in Glasgow along with his continuing sales responsibilities for the manufacturing site in Livingston.

Luis Gómez, CEO of BU D&S and ALTER TECHNOLOGY is delighted with the new team: "Ian, Matt and Cara will work very closely together to improve the financial results and profitability of ALTER UK. We congratulate our colleagues on their exciting new roles."
