Electromagnetic Compatibility: ALTER TECHNOLOGY technical secretariat for the group of notified bodies under the EMC Directive
ALTER TECHNOLOGY has been designated by the European Commission as technical secretariat for the group of the EMC notified bodies (EUANB).
The Commission has positively assessed the quality of ATN's proposal, particularly regarding the methodology and the definition of the sector specific objectives and challenges in the field of EMC for the next four years.
The role of the EUANB technical secretariat is the coordination of the notified bodies to ensure a homogenous implementation of the conformity assessment procedures of the EMC Directive. Moreover, it will channel the activities in the field of European standardization in this field and the initiatives of the Commission regarding the Single Market for Goods legislation.
