Predictive Study of Optocouplers Degradation due to Gamma and Proton Radiation

We have the pleasure of presenting the predictive study of optocouplers degradation due to gamma and proton radiation at IEEE NSREC 2022 in Provo, Utah (USA). The paper is a joint study with Centro Nacional de Aceleradores (CNA), ALTER TECHNOLOGY TÜV NORD and CERN.

It is the second case study, as part of the PRECEDER project, after the already published work on bipolar transistors (available at IEEEXplore).

The successful results obtained with this family of components, optocouplers, have motivated the team to start a new and even more ambitious work increasing the references to be tested and the radiation sources in the frame of the RADNEXT project.
