Taking the Heat of Space Applications

An article about the HEATPACK project, which is supported by EU Horizon 2020, has been published at EU Research Magazine.

Satellites today generate large amounts of heat, have more capacity and more capabilities, and telecommunications applications require a lot of power. This leads to increased thermal fluxes that need to be handled inside the payload.

Most critical considerations related to the cutting-edge techniques used in HEATPACK packages are presented and briefly explained in the article.
