ARSAT-2

ARSAT-2 is a geostationary communications satellite built by the Argentinian company INVAP. It is ready to be launched next September 30 from Kourou in the French Guiana. It will be situated at 35.780 kilometers above the Earth’s equator at latitude 81 degrees west longitude. Offering a wide array of telecommunications services such as television, telephony and intenet access to the entire Continent.

ARSAT-2 is the second geostationay satellite built by INVAP and operated by ARSAT.

ALTER TECHNOLOGY tested and supplied the electronic components on-board the equipment manufactured by INVAP.
