OPTOCAP Complete Phase 1 Installation of New ISO 7 Class Cleanroom
As part of Optocap Ltd strategy to become a European Centre of Excellence for Hi-Reliability Semiconductor assembly and packaging we have completed the Phase 1 installation and commissioning of our new ISO 7 Cleanroom.
The new cleanroom was required to improve the environmental and cleanliness level to meet the exacting demands of end-users working in the Space and other Hi-Rel and Harsh Environment markets. The final stage (PHASE 2) will be complete and commission by end of Dec 2017. A key driver for the completion of this new cleanroom area was to allow Optocap to perform the Flight Module assembly of the ON-SEMI HAS 3 Image Sensor device, which is scheduled for Q2 2018.
