The Compliance team at TÜV NORD AG recently held a workshop in Hamburg with the representatives of all the Business Units (BU). Victoria Bujalance attended the meeting in representation of our BU Digital & Semiconductor and had a comprehensive work session aimed at advancing key initiatives that strengthen our compliance model going forward.
The session began with a strategic compliance review of the 2025 performance and an initial definition of the roadmap for 2026. Next, the team addressed the progress of the TIC Council Audit, reviewing the procedure and the upcoming steps needed to ensure alignment with industry standards. One of the core sections focused on the Business Partner Screening process, a key element to ensure solid and transparent business relationships. Feedback was also shared among the BUs regarding procedure K‑RL 002, highlighting improvements and opportunities for harmonization.
The session continued with a discussion on the expansion of the Compliance organization, a crucial step to support business growth and strengthen our supervisory capacity. BU Digital & Semiconductor was proposed by the Group Compliance Officer, Klaus-Jürgen Gorke, as a best practice model with our Legal & Compliance Group that has one representative of each legal entity in our BU and meets twice a year.
This session reinforces our commitment to a strong, cross‑functional compliance culture oriented toward operational excellence.
