Our role in the new railway landscape

The year 2025 has marked a turning point for the railway sector in Spain and across Europe. The entry into force of new national and European regulations reinforces a shared objective: improving the safety, interoperability and sustainability of transport. These measures address not only environmental challenges but also the growing digitalisation and connectivity of transport systems.

In this context, we apply our experience in highly demanding environments to bring value to the sector. For decades, we have worked in fields such as aerospace, defence and aeronautics, where reliability is non-negotiable. Today, we transfer that expertise to the transport sector, offering testing, qualification and conformity assessment solutions tailored to the needs of the railway industry and smart mobility.

Accredited under ISO/IEC 17025, we are fully equipped to reproduce severe environmental and electromagnetic conditions. We simulate vibration, mechanical and thermal shock, humidity cycles, salt spray corrosion, and carry out electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing in accordance with European standards applicable to the sector, including EN 50155 for on‑board electronic equipment. This enables us to validate the performance and durability of critical components operating in vehicles and long‑mission environments.

In addition to testing, we support manufacturers and developers throughout the entire conformity assessment and CE marking process. We review technical documentation, conduct risk analyses and verify compliance with directives such as EMC and RED, as well as with harmonised standards and specific sectoral requirements.

We also apply advanced critical‑mission electronics methodologies to the transport sector, including reliability analyses (MTBF, FMEA, HALT), accelerated ageing, and functional testing under real conditions. This approach ensures traceability, robustness and a high level of quality control in every project.
