The survey carried out in 2025 across the entire TÜV NORD Group

The survey carried out in 2025 across the entire TÜV NORD Group provides an overview of the internal climate and helps identify the aspects that need to be strengthened in order to continue progressing as an organisation.
Total participation in the BU was 57%, with an uneven distribution, the highest being in TÜV Informationstechnik (75%) and the lowest in ALTER TECHNOLOGY France (22%)
Strengths
The results highlight several areas in which the Business Unit demonstrates strong performance. Employees show a particularly positive perception of customer orientation, with clear awareness of what is needed to increase customer satisfaction and strong confidence in how customer feedback is addressed. Sustainability and alignment with corporate values also stand out as well‑established elements within the unit. Furthermore, the survey reflects a supportive working environment, characterised by healthy cooperation within teams, good working conditions, and a positive perception of work–life balance. Leadership is also viewed favourably, with employees recognising effective support, motivation, and reliable decision‑making within their teams.
Areas for Improvement
The survey also identifies important opportunities for further progress. Strategic orientation emerges as one of the main areas of concern: many employees express limited understanding of how their daily work connects to the Group-wide strategy and feel insufficiently informed about its focus areas. Communication from the Board is another area where employees perceive a need for improvement, particularly regarding clarity and the visibility of decision-making processes. In addition, It highlights the need to make professional development opportunities clearer. The results also indicate that some internal processes remain complex or not fully efficient, which affects overall workflow clarity.
Action Fields
In alignment with the priorities defined at Group level, the BU Digital & Semiconductor will continue to focus on improving processes and quality, strengthening leadership culture, and enhancing our ability to navigate change effectively. For the Business Unit specifically, we will place particular emphasis on reinforcing strategic orientation, as this aspect plays a central role in addressing the improvement areas highlighted by the survey.
These action fields will guide our work in the upcoming period to ensure that the insights gained through the survey translate into meaningful and tangible improvements, while fostering an organisational culture that supports clarity, collaboration and long‑term engagement.
