TÜVIT shines at the RSA Conference in San Francisco
German and US companies from the industry met at the Security Forum in San Francisco, hosted by IT Security Association Germany (TeleTrusT). Naturally, TÜVIT was right in the thick of it, exchanging ideas with the other participants on cyber security technologies. The aim is to declare war on cyberattacks. Who could do this better than TÜVIT? A Bitcom study makes it clear how high the damage caused by such attacks is in Germany alone: cybercrime costs those affected a whole €179 billion, and that's just in 2024.
Participants at the cyber security fair were able to benefit from the specialist knowledge of our expert Marcus Krechel, who gave an exciting presentation entitled “IT Security Evaluation Landscape: Status & Needs”.
We are particularly pleased that TÜVIT received positive feedback from Malcolm Levy from Check Point Software Technologies. Speaking about his very positive experience with us and the German BSI as part of the certification of their current firewall (R82), he said that he particularly liked the high level of professionalism of the experts. He also emphasizes the added value of independent experts and praises the focus on the subsequent handling of vulnerabilities after successful certification as an important feature of future-proof cyber security solutions. We are delighted to hear that!
